Mentor Profile

Hello! My name is Fursha Mae, and I am an enthusiastic ESL teacher with a passion for helping students grow in their English language skills. I graduated with a degree in Information Technology and decided to shift my career towards teaching because I’ve always had a love for language and helping others. To further my teaching journey, I completed a Teacher Certificate Program and earned my TEFL certification, which has equipped me with the tools to make learning English both fun and effective for my students.

With one year of teaching experience, I have had the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students. I take pride in making lessons engaging, interactive, and tailored to the individual needs of my students, encouraging them to feel confident and excited about learning English.

Outside the classroom, I am passionate about K-dramas, anime, traveling, reading e-books, and exploring new foods. These interests keep me inspired and give me a well-rounded perspective, which I bring into my teaching. I believe that learning is a lifelong journey, and I am always excited to connect with new people, share knowledge, and learn from others as well.
